In 2023, the AFA (Art For All) festival in Helsinki, themed "Invitation," reflected on home and societal connections in Kalasatama's urban landscape. As the co-curator and open-call designer, I introduced a "food art" section to explore culinary mediums and the kitchen's social aspect;
During the week-long neighborhood residency, artists, residents, and researchers engaged in diverse works—from multidisciplinary installations to participatory performances. The festival encouraged public participation, sparking discussions on home's significance, ownership, and human interactions, and the interplay between personal spaces and communal ties.
