“Fog is a cloud that touches the ground” is a transdisciplinary event that brings together five curatorial subgroups presenting work in response to the shared theme of crisis, delving into concepts of legacy, feminist narratives, informational skepticism, numbness and overwhelm as a reaction to adversity.
“Ancestral Futures”, as part of this event, investigates practices of futuring through care, collectivity, and intertwined temporalities as a response to crisis as an avenue for dreaming and practicing the otherwise.
As part of the exhibition, I designed a limited-edition publication for text-based artworks.
Artists: Eirini Tiniakou, Teo Paaer, Gabriella Presnal, Micol Curatolo, Julia Fidder, Marjolein van der Loo, Delilah Sykes
Co-curated by: Mana Tashakorinia, Martina Seresová, Amy Merigo, Lau Kaker, Erika Cárdenas Manzanilla, Jade Lönnqvist, Rebekka Yallop
