 Book of Obsession is a hand-printed photobook comprising three distinctive chapters. Its pages are meticulously laid out and bound, designed to be perused in formats of 2 pages, 3 pages, and 4 pages, each format contributing to a layered narrative. 
The narrative starts with "Nesting hands and resonant lungs," on the superstitions and obsessions that arose for me in difficult times after the protests happened in Iran, followed by the second chapter called "Digital Cleansing"; notes about the meaning of safety and security and levels of removing and wiping information.
The chapter narrates this cleansing process with photos of murals in historical places that have been wiped/destroyed due to propaganda or decay. 
The narration ends with "Count, hold, so it lingers," a series of personal letters that were sent to my close friends in the form of real letters after my immigration.







I think we all need to wash ourselves in a river, collectively.
